Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: February 2026

Q Labs Diagnostics strives to provide accurate and timely diagnostic services. Due to the nature of laboratory testing, refunds and cancellations are governed by the following terms.

By booking a test or making a payment, you agree to this policy.


1. Cancellation Before Sample Collection

  • Test bookings may be cancelled before the sample is collected.
  • Cancellation requests must be made by calling our official contact numbers.
  • If payment was made online, the refund will be processed after deducting applicable transaction charges (if any).
  • Refunds may take 5–7 working days to reflect in your original payment method.

2. Cancellation After Sample Collection

Once a sample has been collected:

  • Cancellation is not permitted.
  • No refund will be issued.

This is because laboratory consumables, processing costs, and technical procedures begin immediately after collection.


3. Cancellation After Sample Processing

If the sample has been processed or testing has begun:

  • No refund will be provided under any circumstances.

Diagnostic services are irreversible once analysis starts.


4. Rescheduling

  • Home sample collection may be rescheduled subject to availability.
  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled visit.
  • Repeated rescheduling may result in cancellation of the booking.

5. Failed Collection Attempts

If our technician arrives at the provided address and:

  • The patient is unavailable, or
  • Incorrect address/contact details were provided,

A revisit may be chargeable.


6. Test Cancellation by Q Labs Diagnostics

We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to:

  • Technical issues
  • Equipment malfunction
  • Unavailability of test kits
  • Safety concerns

In such cases, a full refund will be issued.


7. Corporate & Bulk Bookings

Refund and cancellation terms for corporate clients may be governed by separate written agreements.


8. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Improper fasting or patient preparation
  • Patient refusal after technician arrival
  • Delay caused by incorrect information provided by the patient
  • Dissatisfaction with report interpretation (medical consultation required)
